What's a

Call-in?

In Wisconsin, one thing has been abundantly clear: we show up. On July 17, we want to show the force of Wisconsin's voice using a tool that we've all gotten very familiar with: calling our representatives.

How it works

Pick your topics

Choose from our list of call-in topics and decide what you're calling your representative about.

Identify your representative

Use the Legislature website to find your state-level representatives and write their numbers on a piece of paper.

At 1:00 PM on Thursday, call your representative

Join us by calling your Assembly Representative, then your State Senator at 1:00 PM. If you're at the c

When do I call? How many times do I call?

You should call between 1:00 and 1:15 - this means that we'll all call at the same time! You can and should call multiple times - leave multiple calls/voicemails with one concern in each.

What should I call about?

Start with our list of topics, then feel free to call about whatever you'd like. You can use the ACLU website to find other issues.

I won't be in Madison. Can I call in?

Yes, just be sure to call at 1:00!

I'll be at the Capitol rally. Can I call in?

Yes, we'll make time during the rally to call-in.

I am part of an organization/group. How can I help?

You can encourage people to come to Madison - we'd love extra bodies. Encourage people to volunteer, donate, and carpool. If you can't make it in person, you can plan a call-in in person, right where you are! Download our Host Toolkit to learn more!

What does this action accomplish?

This call-in action will increase pressure on our representatives to pass legislation that protects human rights and strengthens voting rights. It's the first action of its kind in recent history, dipping our toes into new territory as we fight back against this administration.

Will the rally be live streamed/recorded?

Yes!
