The Raging Grannies of Madison began as a project of the Madison chapter of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), first singing to the crowds of Madison WI anti-war protesters in the fall of 2003.
Raging Grannies have sung about single payer health care at the offices of our members of Congress, at a military recruiting event at a local high school, and show up regularly at the Farmer's Market on the Capitol Square.
Dances with Ddeer is a System of a Down tribute band, a 90s heavy metal band whose songs tackle war, injustice, government accountability, media manipulation, and the cost of silence. DwDD will play after the speakers during the Resource & Engagement Fair.
